Mata N´ativa Pousada – Trancoso

This is a delightful riverside pousada, where owners Daniel and Daniela show exceptional hospitality and friendliness to guests. The elegant cabanas (double room cabins)occupy a romantic setting in a cool and shady garden visited by numerous birds and butterflies. Daniel offers easy adventure trips – kayaking on the river or naure walking in nearby areas of restinga and Atlantic coastal forest – and knows all about Brazilian flora. There is also a useful collection of books on natural history in the pousada´s sitting area. Good English, Spanish and Italian are spoken. They provide a great breakfast and children are welcome.
